My Story
I love this part...how did crystals make their way into my life? It really started after I read the Twilight by Stephenie Meyer . I was intrigued with the mesmerising power of the obsidian in the book and was instantly attracted to it and wished to possess one too. One day my son and husband surprised me with an obsidian pendant and as life progressed I was presented with several instances where crystals showed their presence to me attracting me and garnering my curiorisity and interest in them. A very dear friend steered me in that direction and it was all as if the universe was guiding me to a calling. And just like that the alchemy of crystals was the catylyst that created Mariposa.
Mariposa is the Spanish word for butterfly. The butterfly is often associated with the human soul, especially in Greek mythology where the goddess of the soul - ‘psyche’ is seen wearing butterfly wings. This association stems from the butterfly’s transformative journey, seen as a metaphor for the soul’s evolution from physical existence to spiritual transcendence.
